Role Overview: As a Academic Counselor in this role, you will conduct regular meetings with students to address their concerns and provide solutions. Your responsibilities will include responding to student queries, collecting feedback on college and faculty, and creating a vibrant and engaged student environment. Daily interaction with students is essential for this role, along with overseeing the functioning of internal exams such as evaluations, mid-terms, and retests. You will also need to meet with parents of underperforming students and maintain records of all students. Key Responsibilities: - Make timely decisions and understand the education system and its regulations - Collaborate with faculty and management to enhance attendance and performance - Counsel students with poor academic performance and assist them in managing their workload - Organize cultural events, coordinate student groups and committees, and supervise the roles of student representatives Qualification Required: - Strong grasp of student psychology - Ability to handle a large number of students effectively - Analytical thinking and proactive initiatives - Excellent interpersonal skills - Previous experience in management is beneficial - Master's degree in Psychology or Social Work (MSW) from a reputable institution is mandatory Additional Details: This is a full-time position based in Indore, Madhya Pradesh. Candidates should be willing to commute or relocate to the area before commencing work. A minimum of 5 years of experience in academic counseling is preferred. The work location is in person, and preference will be given to candidates with a Master's degree.,
