Role & responsibilities

Operations Management:

  • Oversee the daily manufacturing operations of Power cables.
  • Plan and execute production schedules to meet customer demands and ensure timely delivery.
  • Optimize processes for cost efficiency, including raw material utilization, machine downtime, and labor costs.
  • Implement best practices for continuous improvement in production, reducing waste, and improving overall productivity.

Team Leadership:

  • Lead, motivate, and manage a team of production managers, engineers, supervisors, and operators.
  • Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and quality.
  • Set clear performance goals, provide regular feedback, and develop the team through coaching and training.

Quality Assurance:

  • Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO, ASTM) and customer specifications.
  • Implement and monitor quality control systems to ensure the highest levels of product quality.
  • Drive root cause analysis for any quality issues and ensure corrective actions are taken.

Maintenance & Asset Management:

  • Oversee the preventive and corrective maintenance of plant machinery and equipment.
  • Ensure optimal uptime of machinery and production lines through effective asset management strategies.
  • Manage spare parts inventory and liaise with vendors for timely procurement of machine parts.
