POSITION: IQAC COORDINATOR

DEPARTMENT: INSTITUTIONAL QUALITY ASSURANCE CELL (IQAC)

Role Overview

The IQAC Coordinator will serve as the central point of coordination between the University administration, academic schools, and statutory bodies to ensure effective implementation of quality assurance processes and continuous improvement initiatives. The role involves monitoring academic and administrative performance, maintaining compliance with accreditation standards, and fostering a culture of quality across the institution.

Key Responsibilities

Quality Assurance and Compliance

  • Coordinate the preparation, review, and submission of AQAR, SSR, and other NAAC-related documentation.
  • Ensure adherence to quality benchmarks and institutional policies in teaching, learning, research, and administration.
  • Facilitate periodic academic and administrative audits and follow-up actions.

Data Management and Reporting

  • Collect, analyze, and maintain data related to institutional performance indicators.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports for internal quality reviews, management meetings, and accreditation bodies.
  • Maintain documentation and evidence required for quality audits.

Coordination and Communication

  • Act as a liaison between IQAC, academic schools, administrative departments, and external agencies.
  • Ensure timely communication of quality initiatives, deadlines, and institutional requirements.
  • Support School Directors and faculty in implementing quality enhancement strategies.

Event Management and Capacity Building

  • Organize workshops, seminars, and training programs on quality assurance, teaching excellence, and best practices.
  • Promote awareness of quality culture and continuous improvement among faculty and staff.

Monitoring and Evaluation

  • Track progress on quality initiatives, strategic goals, and institutional performance metrics.
  • Identify areas for improvement and recommend actionable measures to enhance academic and operational quality.
