Key Account Manager- Sales/ BD

We are looking for a Key Account Manager E-commerce Sales to drive and manage across major ecommerce platforms (Amazon, Blinkit, BigBasket, Swiggy Instamart, Zepto, etc.). The ideal candidate will be responsible for account growth, sales optimization, and strategic partnerships to ensure revenue and brand visibility targets are met.

Key Responsibilities

1. E-commerce Account Management

  • Own and manage relationships with key e-commerce partners (Amazon, Blinkit, BigBasket, Swiggy Instamart, Zepto, etc.).
  • Drive assortment expansion, visibility, and sales growth across platforms.
  • Develop joint business plans (JBP) with platform partners to align with sales objectives.
  • Ensure seamless product listings, stock availability, and pricing strategy compliance.

2. Sales & Revenue Growth

  • Monitor daily/weekly/monthly sales performance and optimize strategies accordingly.
  • Plan and execute sales promotions, discount strategies, and seasonal campaigns to drive conversions.
  • Work closely with digital marketing teams to optimize ad spend, visibility, and conversion rates.

3. Platform Optimization & Execution

  • Ensure best-in-class product listings with optimized titles, descriptions, images, and keywords.
  • Monitor and improve organic ranking, reviews, and ratings on platforms.
  • Coordinate with the supply chain and operations team to ensure on-time inventory fulfillment and avoid stockouts.

4. Data Analytics & Performance Reporting

  • Track sell-through rates, traffic, conversion metrics, and ROI for all platforms.
  • Conduct competitor benchmarking to stay ahead in pricing, assortment, and promotions.
  • Provide monthly performance reports and actionable insights to senior management.

5. Relationship Management & Negotiations

  • Build strong relationships with category managers and key stakeholders at e-commerce platforms.
  • Negotiate for better visibility placements, special promotions, and brand partnerships.
  • Identify new e-commerce marketplaces and explore expansion opportunities.

Key Skills & Qualifications

Experience: 5-7 years in E-commerce Sales, KAM, (preferably in FMCG, Food Company).

Education: MBA/PG in Marketing, Business, or a related field preferred.

Experience in P&L management, growth strategies, and JBP execution.

Proven ability to drive sales, promotions, and platform negotiations.

Strong coordination skills between marketing, supply chain, and platform teams.
