Job Summary:

Infios, a Körber company, is seeking a Software Architect to lead the design and development of complex, large-scale enterprise solutions within the supply chain domain. In this role, you will define the architectural vision, set technical standards, and establish the roadmap for product development. You will guide multiple engineering teams, drive innovation, and ensure systems are built for scalability, resilience, and long-term success in a cloud-native ecosystem.

What a day in the life looks like:

·       Define and own the end-to-end technical architecture for new and existing large-scale supply chain solutions.

·       Lead the design of complex microservices, event-driven systems (using Kafka), and data-intensive applications.

·       Establish and govern architectural standards, best practices, and technology choices, particularly across the Python and Java ecosystems.

·       Lead and mentor senior and junior engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and innovation.

·       Evaluate and recommend new technologies, frameworks, and cloud services (AWS/GCP) to solve complex business problems.

·       Collaborate with executive leadership, product managers, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into a sustainable technical roadmap.

·       Oversee and guide the selection of database technologies (MongoDB, RDBMS) and caching strategies (Redis) for optimal performance at scale.

·       Champion non-functional requirements (NFRs) such as performance, security, scalability, and reliability across all engineering teams.

What you bring to the team:

·       10+ years in software development, with at least 3-4 years in an Architect or technical leadership role.

·       Mandatory, expert-level proficiency in both Python and Java, and their respective enterprise ecosystems (e.g., Spring, FastAPI/Sanic).

·       Mandatory, deep domain knowledge in Supply Chain and logistics.

·       Proven experience leading, mentoring, and influencing multiple development teams.

·       Demonstrable experience architecting and delivering large-scale, high-throughput, scalable enterprise solutions.

·       Expertise in designing event-driven architectures (e.g., Kafka) and microservices.

·       Deep understanding of cloud-native principles and extensive hands-on experience with AWS or GCP.

·       Broad expertise in database design (SQL/NoSQL - e.g., MongoDB, PostgreSQL) and caching systems (Redis).

·       Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

·       Experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker).

Good to Have

·       Familiarity with other high-performance languages (e.g., Go).

·       Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and CI/CD best practices.

·       Published technical articles, whitepapers, or spoken at industry conferences.
