We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sales Analytics Senior Manager to join our GTM Operations team. As a Sales Analytics Senior Manager with at least years of work experience, you will play a key role in driving data-driven decision-making, developing thought leadership on analytical methods, and providing actionable insights to support Anaplan's aggressive growth targets. You will be comfortable working with diverse skillsets and are looking for a results-oriented Senior Manager to oversee and guide our Analytics and Data Science teams within our Go-To-Market (GTM) organization. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including Sales, Marketing, Product, Customer Success, and other critical GTM functions such as Compensation, Planning, Strategy, and Transformation to ensure alignment between business objectives and analytics-driven outcomes.
What you will do:
- Manage, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of business analysts and data scientists, providing guidance and fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Drive business insights by analyzing key performance metrics, identifying trends, and presenting recommendations to senior leadership, product teams, and other business functions.
- Partner closely with GTM Compensation, Planning, Strategy, and Transformation teams to ensure business decisions are supported by data, align with overall GTM objectives, and drive long-term success.
- Present complex data analysis results and actionable insights in a clear and concise manner to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Effectively communicate the value and implications of data-driven recommendations to drive informed decision-making.
- Apply hypothesis testing and data science methodologies to guide a team of data scientists to build predictive models and optimize sales forecasts, customer segmentation, and churn predictions.
- Develop long term roadmaps on data and analytics strategy within the GTM function and identify organizational needs to continuously deliver in a growing company.
What you bring to the table:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field. Master's degree or MBA is a plus.
- A minimum of years of experience in business analytics, data science, sales operations, or business intelligence, with at least 5-6 years in a leadership role overseeing a diverse team.
- Previous work experience in multinational technology companies or consulting roles, particularly in a data-driven, high-growth environment a plus.
- Experience working with Sales data in Salesforce as well as other GTM Technology data tools. Experience with Anaplan is a plus.
- Proven track record of leading and developing teams, driving results, and fostering a collaborative, performance-driven environment
- Deep understanding of statistical concepts and methodologies, including hypothesis testing, regression analysis, time series analysis, and clustering.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail. Ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions to complex business challenges using data-driven approaches.
- Ability to communicate in a clear, concise manner
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a global, cross-functional team environment, including collaborating with stakeholders in a remote capacity. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate and influence others. Preferably, has experience overseeing work product and quality of other people.
