About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced
Tutoring Manager
to oversee and scale our academic tutoring operations. The ideal candidate will have strong managerial skills, a proven background in academic program management, and a deep understanding of international curricula, specifically
IB, IGCSE, and AS/A Levels
.

This role requires hands-on management of tutors, curriculum alignment, scheduling, student/parent communication, and maintaining high academic quality standards. The Tutoring Manager will serve as the bridge between tutors, students, and parents, ensuring effective learning outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
Team Management & Operations

  • Recruit, onboard, and manage a high-performing team of subject tutors across IB, IGCSE, and AS/A Level curricula.
  • Create teaching schedules, monitor attendance, and ensure tutor availability for student needs.
  • Conduct regular training and development sessions for tutors to enhance pedagogy and subject expertise.

Academic Quality & Curriculum Oversight

  • Ensure tutoring sessions align with the
    IB, IGCSE, and AS/A Level syllabi and exam standards
    .
  • Design academic support frameworks, including mock tests, performance tracking, and revision strategies.
  • Monitor student progress and implement corrective action plans in consultation with tutors.

Student & Parent Engagement

  • Act as the first point of contact for parents and students for academic concerns and progress updates.
  • Conduct regular review meetings with parents to discuss student performance and tutoring outcomes.
  • Maintain high satisfaction levels through responsive communication and proactive problem-solving.

Process & Reporting

  • Manage tutoring schedules, calendars, and operational workflows.
  • Track performance metrics (attendance, grades, improvement rates, satisfaction scores).
  • Provide monthly reports on academic progress, tutor performance, and operational efficiency.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education, Management, or a related field (preferred).
  • Minimum
    5+ years of experience
    in academic management, tutoring operations, or education leadership.
  • Strong familiarity with
    IB (DP & MYP), IGCSE, and AS/A Level
    curricula (mandatory).
  • Proven leadership, team management, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
  • Tech-savvy with experience using LMS platforms, scheduling tools, and performance-tracking systems.
