We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Assitant Vice President, Financial Crime Investigative Reporting.
Principal responsibilities
Manage a team of Investigators and Sr Investigators undertaking end to end Financial Crime investigations originating from various sources, SAR drafting and Triage activity.Ensure Investigations are well articulated, with clear findings. High skill levels of written English are important.Allocate work and maintain oversight on SLAEnsure investigators are trained and accredited in Inv Reporting and Triage.Manage the investigation quality ensuring this is aligned to the banks internal procedures, ensuring all work completed and the SAR was filed correctly, to prevent any policy or non-policy findings.Interact with MLRO / Delegate and SAR writing team towards timely filing of SARIdentifies and escalates the most significant and sensitive investigations to ensure appropriate prioritization, resourcing, and investigative strategy. Communicates to all key stakeholders the ongoing status of such investigations and the related mitigating actions.Personally provide correspondent banking subject matter expertise necessary to inform the work of other parts of FCI, including but not limited to innovations in analytics, identification of typologies, policies and procedures, the engagement strategy, training, and a potentially more effective and efficient regulatory landscape.Identifies and escalates the most significant and sensitive investigations to ensure appropriate prioritization, resourcing, and investigative strategy. Communicates to all key stakeholders the ongoing status of such investigations and the related mitigating actions.Manages the performance of others, as well as their wellbeing and work-life balance. Ensures that people are motivated and engaged with financial crime investigations.Qualifications:
People management experience.Strong experience in Financial Crime investigation or related fieldHave excellent analysis and report writing skills (in English).Experience of MLRO engagement is a plusStrong interpersonal skills, with a proactive sense of problem solving.High IT proficiency, with the ability to analyse large datasets.Knowledge of Financial Crime is essential.You'll achieve more at HSBC
