Job Title:
Cloud and Virtualization SME (DriveNets Experience Preferred)
Location: Chennai / Pune | Full-time | 15+ Years Experience

About the Role:
We're hiring a Cloud & Virtualization Engineer to lead the deployment, automation, and management of cloud-native and virtualized infrastructures in telecom and hyperscale environments. Experience with DriveNets Network Cloud is highly preferred. You'll work across virtualization platforms, cloud environments, container technologies, and disaggregated network infrastructures to deliver high-performance, scalable, and secure solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
Design and deploy virtualized/cloud-native platforms (VMware, KVM, Kubernetes, OpenStack, AWS/Azure/GCP). Deploy and operate DriveNets-based disaggregated network solutions for telecom or hyperscale use cases. Automate infrastructure using Python, Bash, Terraform, Ansible and CI/CD tools. Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize system/network performance. Implement security, HA/DR, and regulatory compliance best practices. Create architecture documents, SOPs, and mentor junior team members.

The role requires a deep understanding of the RFP and bid life cycle, as well as the ability to effectively present the organization's capabilities and portfolio to customers.

  • Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to develop solutions for other technologies, as needed.
  • Identify, communicate, and mitigate Risks, Assumptions, Issues and Decisions throughout complete lifecycle (Pre-sales, Delivery, Support)

Presales Support

  • Provide technical input and support during the RFP and bid life cycle, ensuring solutions meet customer requirements and TCTS standards.
  • Develop and deliver high-quality responses to customer RFPs, RFQs, and other solicitations.
  • Work with cross-functional teams (like Contract team , Business operations) to develop and refine solutions, ensuring alignment with TCTS strategy and portfolio in the same time stitch the RFP response
  • Participate in bid management activities, ensuring technical compliance and alignment with customer requirements.
  • Collaborate with the bid team to develop and deliver winning bid responses.

Customer Engagement

  • Present TCTS capabilities and portfolio to customers, highlighting the value proposition and competitive differentiators.
  • Lead the solution presentation to the customer as well as Inhouse stakeholders and senior management
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and preferences.

Must-Have Skills:
15+ years in cloud/virtualization roles with DriveNets, VMware, Kubernetes, or OpenStack.

Strong knowledge of L2/L3 protocols (BGP, MPLS, VXLAN) and cloud networking. Scripting & IaC (Python, Bash, Terraform, Ansible). Container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker). Experience in telecom or hyperscaler environments.

Preferred:
Certifications (AWS/GCP/Azure, VCP, CCNP, CKA). Experience with white-box hardware and service provider networks. Familiarity with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
