Job Summary:

The role involves delivering high-quality instruction in IT-related courses, mentoring students, engaging in scholarly research, and contributing to curriculum innovation and departmental activities.

Key Responsibilities:
Teaching & Academics

  • Deliver lab sessions and tutorials in core areas of Computer Science/Information Technology (e.g., Programming, Data Structures, Web Development, AI, Cybersecurity, Cloud Computing, etc.).

  • Develop course materials, assignments, and assessments aligned with university standards.

  • Mentor and guide students on academic and career goals, including project work and internships.

Institutional Development

  • Support accreditation and quality assurance processes (NAAC, NBA, NIRF, etc.).

  • Participate in departmental meetings, academic committees, and curriculum review exercises.

  • Assist in organizing academic events, workshops, and guest lectures.

  • Contribute to student clubs, hackathons, competitions, and co-curricular activities.

Administrative & Outreach

  • Participate in academic audits, documentation, and student evaluation processes.

  • Coordinate with industry partners for internships, placements, and guest sessions.

  • Represent the department at academic fairs, seminars, and community engagement programs.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Educational Qualification:

    • MCA or BCA.

  • Skills & Competencies:

    • Strong subject knowledge and communication skills.

    • Familiarity with learning management systems and digital teaching tools.

    • Ability to mentor and motivate students.

    • Commitment to academic integrity and continuous improvement.
