Biostatistics Programmer (SAS to R Migration) Senior Developer role for the strategic migration of biostatistics workflows from SAS to R across multiple clinical projects. Set best practices and ensure high-quality statistical deliverables in a regulated environment. Suitable for professionals with solid experience in pharma biostatistics and hands-on R and R Shiny development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Architect large-scale migration of SAS-based statistical assets to R.
  • Design, develop, and review advanced R and R Shiny solutions for clinical data analysis and visualization.
  • Lead cross-functional teams and mentor junior programmers.
  • Establish and enforce coding standards, validation procedures, and documentation.
  • Engage with stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in statistical programming.

Required Qualifications:

  • Masters Statistics, Biostatistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in pharmaceutical biostatistics.
  • Deep expertise in R, R Shiny, and SAS, with proven migration project experience.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards like CDISC standards (SDTM, Adam) is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
