About the Role

We are seeking a
Cloud Platform Engineer
with strong Linux expertise to lead the deployment, scaling, and management of our cloud-hosted applications. You will work closely with both frontend and backend developers, ensuring reliable, secure, and efficient operations across development, staging, and production environments.

This role blends infrastructure management, CI/CD automation, DNS configuration, managed database handling, and full-stack application understanding — forming the operational backbone of our product ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities


• Manage server environments (staging, production, and development), including provisioning, scaling, and maintenance.


• Spin up new environments as needed to support testing, QA, or feature development.


• Deploy and maintain Linux-based applications in cloud environments, ensuring performance, security, and scalability.


• Perform advanced Linux server administration, including package management, firewall setup, and user/process control.


• Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.) for backend, frontend, and mobile repositories.


• Automate infrastructure using Bash scripts or Infrastructure-as-Code tools (e.g., Terraform, Pulumi).


• Configure and manage DNS records, CDN settings, and routing using providers like Cloudflare and Namecheap.


• Handle SSL/TLS certificate issuance and renewal, ensuring secure HTTPS across environments.


• Provision and manage managed databases, including backups, user access, scaling, and monitoring.


• Collaborate closely with backend, frontend, and mobile engineers, leveraging full-stack awareness to troubleshoot deployments and resolve system issues.


• Monitor system and application health, proactively responding to incidents or performance bottlenecks.


• Maintain secure, documented server access workflows (SSH, firewall rules, keys, etc.).


• Help enforce DevOps and platform best practices across the engineering team, driving a culture of reliability, automation, and continuous improvement.

Requirements


• 3-5 years of hands-on experience in Linux-based infrastructure or platform engineering roles.


• Strong grasp of modern cloud environments and deployment workflows.


• Proficient in troubleshooting system, network, and deployment-related issues.


• Comfortable collaborating across teams and adapting to fast-paced product development.

Nice to Have


• Experience with DigitalOcean, AWS, or GCP.


• Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform, Pulumi, etc.).


• Exposure to web/mobile stacks like Laravel, , , or Flutter.


• Knowledge of monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana) and secure access management.
