We are looking for a seasoned Head Accounts to lead the end-to-end accounting and finance operations for a reputed manufacturing organization in the metal Industry. The ideal candidate will be a CA-qualified professional with strong expertise in managing multi-plant accounts, statutory compliance, and financial reporting in a fast-paced manufacturing setup.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the Accounts Department (10 to 15 team members) with complete ownership of all financial data and transactions.
  • Oversee accounting operations across multiple manufacturing plants, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance.
  • Regularly monitor and reconcile payables, receivables, and bank accounts.
  • Report directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) with timely financial updates and performance metrics.
  • Implement and optimize SAP systems for process automation and data accuracy.
  • Prepare and present financial statements, MIS reports, budgets, and forecasts for senior management.
  • Ensure statutory compliance with GST, Income Tax, and Cost Records.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and handle all audit requirements efficiently.
  • Establish and strengthen internal controls, policies, and accounting procedures.
  • Provide financial insights to support business decisions and cost optimization initiatives.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • CA Qualified with 1525 years of post-qualification experience in Accounting and Finance.
  • Must be from the manufacturing industry — preferably auto components or metal processing.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP and other accounting systems.
  • Strong leadership skills with prior experience in managing teams of 10–15 people.
  • Proven ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and handle multi-plant operations.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
