As Maximo Developer, your overall support to ensure efficiency, consistency and timely delivery of projects will be crucial. You will get exposure to multiple clients, exceptional team members and exciting projects to work upon.

Responsibilities

  • Work with Client, Onsite team, Tech Lead & BA for assigned requirements.
  • Focus on understanding requirements and design solutions with good quality & within timeframe.
  • Configure & customize applications to meet business processes and requirements.
  • Independently lead complex/ new tasks on your own without external help and provide resolution within expected time frame.
  • Refine, analyse, cleanse, and structure the data for migration & loading.
  • Build integrations with external systems through MIF.
  • Create BIRT reports.
  • Provide post implementation/post upgrade support to end users
  • Install, and apply patches & fix packs to Maximo environments.
  • Upgrade Maximo to latest versions of 7.6.x and 8.x.
  • Create ERD, TDD, and Integration design document as per project requirements.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of development experience
  • Implementation experience with IBM Maximo 7.x & 8.x required.
  • Comfort using programming languages and relational databases
  • Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills

Preferred candidate profile

  1. Automation Scripts

  2. Strong command of Jython/Python/JavaScript for Maximo scripting.

  3. Hands-on with Launch Points (Object, Attribute, Action).

  4. Debugging, logging, and performance tuning of scripts.

  5. MAS (Maximo Application Suite) Upgrade & Installation

  6. Knowledge of MAS architecture (Red Hat OpenShift)

  7. Hands-on experience in:
  8. MAS installation & configuration.
  9. Version upgrades (e.g., MAS 8.x 9.x).
  10. Familiar with Maximo Manage deployment inside MAS.

  11. Troubleshooting installation and upgrade issues using logs & IBM support tools.

  12. Integration

  13. Strong understanding of Maximo Integration Framework (MIF):

  14. Object Structures, Publish/Enterprise Services, Endpoints, External Systems.
  15. Building API-based integrations with external systems.

  16. Hands-on with automation scripts in integration (data transformation, mapping).

  17. BIRT Reporting

  18. Proficiency in BIRT Designer for custom report development.

  19. Understanding Maximo database schema & relationships.

  20. General

  21. Ability to lead technical solution design & reviews.

  22. Strong problem-solving skills for production issues & performance bottlenecks.
  23. Good knowledge of Maximo functional modules (Work Management, Assets, Inventory, Procurement).
  24. Collaboration skills with functional consultants, infra teams, and business stakeholders
