Role Overview — Business Development Executive
We're seeking a high-energy, entrepreneurial-minded Business Development Executive who can open doors, build lasting relationships, and drive revenue growth. This role is not for someone who waits for opportunities — it's for the person who creates them.
You'll be at the forefront of our growth journey, identifying and engaging potential customers, presenting our solutions with clarity and conviction, and ensuring prospects turn into loyal partners. If you're passionate about both people and numbers — and you're not afraid of cold calls, emails, or strategic pitches — this is your stage.
What You'll Do
- Identify, research, and qualify potential leads in the education sector and beyond.
- Initiate contact with prospects through cold calling, targeted emails, and social outreach.
- Craft tailored pitches and presentations that address client pain points and showcase Evallo's value.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with decision-makers, guiding them from interest to signed deals.
- Collaborate with product and marketing teams to align outreach efforts with brand messaging and market trends.
- Track, analyze, and optimize lead generation and conversion strategies.
- Consistently meet and exceed sales and revenue targets.
What We're Looking For

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; persuasive and confident in conversations.
- Demonstrated resilience in outreach — comfortable with rejection and relentless in follow-ups.
- Strong business acumen and an understanding of SaaS or technology-driven products.
- 2–5 years of proven experience in business development, sales, or client acquisition (ed-tech or B2B SaaS experience is a plus).
- Analytical thinker — able to research markets, segment audiences, and identify key decision-makers.
- Tech-savvy: familiar with CRM tools, lead generation platforms, and virtual communication tools.
Nice to Have
- Prior experience in a startup or high-growth environment.
- Exposure to the education or SaaS industry.
- Ability to navigate multiple stakeholders in long sales cycles.
