Core responsibilities

  • Sales and client management:
  • Generate leads through cold calling and prospecting.
  • Explain motor insurance products and features to potential customers.
  • Identify client needs and recommend appropriate policies.
  • Achieve sales targets and follow up on leads to close sales.
  • Handle policy renewals and process payments.
  • Claims and underwriting:
  • Investigate and assess motor vehicle accident claims.
  • Process payments for claims.
  • Communicate with customers, stakeholders, and other parties involved in a claim.
  • Draw up quotes, negotiate policy terms, and balance risk for the insurer.
  • Administrative and support:
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions.
  • Assist in resolving customer issues related to policies and claims.
  • Stay updated on industry developments, regulations, and technology.

Required skills and qualifications

  • Skills:
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Negotiation skills.
  • Product knowledge of motor insurance.
  • Ability to handle customer inquiries and resolve issues.
  • Proficiency with insurance software and CRM systems is often required.
  • Qualifications:
  • A bachelor's degree is often preferred or HSC.
  • Previous experience in motor insurance or Life Insurance Sales
