Core responsibilities
- Sales and client management:
- Generate leads through cold calling and prospecting.
- Explain motor insurance products and features to potential customers.
- Identify client needs and recommend appropriate policies.
- Achieve sales targets and follow up on leads to close sales.
- Handle policy renewals and process payments.
- Claims and underwriting:
- Investigate and assess motor vehicle accident claims.
- Process payments for claims.
- Communicate with customers, stakeholders, and other parties involved in a claim.
- Draw up quotes, negotiate policy terms, and balance risk for the insurer.
- Administrative and support:
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions.
- Assist in resolving customer issues related to policies and claims.
- Stay updated on industry developments, regulations, and technology.
Required skills and qualifications
- Skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Negotiation skills.
- Product knowledge of motor insurance.
- Ability to handle customer inquiries and resolve issues.
- Proficiency with insurance software and CRM systems is often required.
- Qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree is often preferred or HSC.
- Previous experience in motor insurance or Life Insurance Sales
