Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced
Core Senior Engineer
to design, develop, test, and maintain scalable software applications and products. This role involves working across the full software development lifecycle and contributing to both
front-end and back-end components
of enterprise-grade systems.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in
Java, Spring Boot, Microservices
, and
Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
, with a passion for solving complex problems and delivering high-quality, user-centric solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with stakeholders to understand business use cases, pain points, and functional requirements with a user-first mindset
  • Design, develop, and deliver scalable solutions using modern tools, frameworks, and Agile methodologies
  • Assess application requirements and define appropriate technology stacks, integration approaches, and deployment strategies
  • Create high-level software architecture designs, defining system components, interfaces, and data flows
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product owners, designers, architects, and engineering peers
  • Define and implement software testing strategies, standards, and best practices aligned with industry guidelines
  • Continuously optimize application performance and improve system efficiency using new technologies
  • Follow engineering best practices such as Test-Driven Development (TDD), CI/CD, and automated testing
  • Ensure application security by implementing data protection measures including encryption and anonymization
  • Develop intuitive, user-friendly interfaces in collaboration with frontend teams
  • Build and maintain backend services, APIs, and microservices using server-side technologies
  • Evaluate and adopt emerging technologies to enhance solution capabilities and future scalability

Required Skills

  • Strong experience as a Full Stack Java Developer
  • Expertise in Java (8/11/17+), Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture

  • Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) including:

  • Cloud Run

  • BigQuery

  • Pub/Sub

  • Proficiency in building RESTful APIs and GraphQL services

  • Experience deploying cloud infrastructure using Terraform
  • Strong understanding of distributed systems and cloud-native application design

Preferred Skills

  • In-depth knowledge of the Spring Ecosystem (Spring Data, Spring Security, Spring Cloud)
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, preferably using Tekton
  • Ability to design event-driven architectures using GCP Pub/Sub
  • Basic hands-on or working knowledge of for frontend collaboration
  • Strong understanding of OOP concepts, design patterns, and SQL performance optimization
  • Experience debugging and testing applications in distributed cloud environments

Experience Requirements

  • 8+ years of overall IT experience
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices
  • 3+ years of experience working in cloud-native environments on GCP
  • 1+ year of experience using Terraform for infrastructure provisioning

  • Bachelor's Degree (Required)
