Strategy and planning

  • Develop and implement social media strategies that align with business objectives.
  • Create and maintain a content calendar for consistent posting across platforms.
  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for social media success.
  • Conduct competitive analysis to identify trends and growth opportunities.

Content creation and management

  • Create, edit, and publish engaging content, including text, images, and videos.
  • Manage the brand's online presence, ensuring a consistent and unified voice.
  • Oversee social media advertising campaigns.

Community and customer engagement

  • Monitor social media for comments, messages, and mentions.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and engage with the online community.
  • Build and nurture relationships with followers, influencers, and brand advocates.

Analytics and reporting

  • Track and analyze social media metrics to measure campaign performance.
  • Generate reports on data such as follower growth, engagement rates, and website traffic.
  • Use data insights to inform and adjust social media strategies.

Collaboration and other duties

  • Collaborate with marketing, sales, and creative teams to ensure brand messaging alignment.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices.
  • In smaller companies, responsibilities may extend to more hands-on content creation and day-to-day management.
