Role and Responsibilities:
- Documentation: Prepare and verify all necessary import documents, including commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and certificates of origin.
- Logistics Coordination: Coordinate with customs clearing agents (CHA), freight forwarders, banks, and shipping lines to ensure smooth processing of shipments.
- Financial Management: Arrange and process bank payments for imports, prepare and coordinate Letters of Credit (LC), and manage import-related financial activities.
- Shipment Tracking: Track the movement of shipments from the port to the final destination and update relevant departments.
- Compliance: Ensure all import activities comply with international trade laws, customs regulations, and company policies.
- Reporting: Maintain accurate records of all import transactions and prepare regular reports.
- Problem Solving: Resolve any issues that may arise during the import process, such as those related to logistics, customs clearance, or documentation.
- Other Duties: Assist with other import-related activities as required, such as vessel and container tracking.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹20, ₹35,000.00 per month
