Job Title: Sr. Moodle Developer

About the Role:

We are hiring a Senior Moodle Developer with strong expertise in end-to-end Moodle development, integrations, and frontend design. The role involves developing, customizing, and maintaining our Moodle LMS and integrating it seamlessly with our main platform in Umbraco.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, customize, and maintain Moodle core, plugins, and themes
  • Implement SSO (OAuth2/SAML) and integrate Moodle with external platforms
  • Build/consume APIs for user sync, course progress, notifications, analytics
  • Customize Moodle UI to match brand theme (HTML, CSS, JS)
  • Manage courses, roles, enrollments, SCORM, and discussion forums
  • Implement Moodle reports, course analytics & data sync
  • Ensure performance, security, and responsive design

Required Skills:

  • 3+ years hands-on Moodle development experience
  • Strong PHP, MySQL, Moodle APIs & plugin development
  • Expert in HTML, CSS, JavaScript
  • Experience with REST APIs and SSO authentication
  • Knowledge of SCORM/xAPI and LMS best practices

Good to Have Skills:

  • Experience with Power BI or reporting tools
  • Familiarity with WCAG accessibility & PWA concepts
  • Cloud experience (Azure/AWS)
