Divisional Merchandising Manager

DIVISIONAL MANAGER MERCHANDISING:

-Represents for presentation and costing meetings. Displays & Shares our collections to obtain orders for the coming season.

-Displays maturity & winning attitude in effectively negotiating & achieving target profitability by verifying whether the style in discussion is viable in terms of manufacturing/profitability.

-Books production capacity based on orders/forecast received from the buyers & ensures that the space booked is effectively used.

-Optimizes production by ensuring the availability of capacity for orders booked by interfacing with central planning.

-Reviews and follows up with the team in line with the Time & action calendar to ensure that all materials/approvals are in place before the PCD.

-Plans in consultation with production heads & follows production status on a bi-weekly basis to ensure production is on time. Troubleshoots wherever needed.

• Reviews and follows up with the merchandising team, quality team, and production team to ensure quality merchandise is shipped out. Trouble shoots wherever needed.

-Effectively follows up with the target with the concerned department & maintains cordial relationships with all the other departments in the organization.

-Adds & expands business value by developing & managing clients & accounts effectively.

-Effectively follows up on the payments once the shipments are executed, depending on the payment terms, e.g., T/T; L/C at sight / 30 days / 60 days, etc., in coordination with the accounts/documentation dept.

-Maintain Cordial relations with all departments.

-To strategies innovative ideas to simplify the process and make it more efficient.

-To generate the required MIS reports and provide the same to the concerned Departments.

Reviews the fabric booking text marker (mini marker) and fabric test report, and OCR.
