Job description

We are seeking a highly experienced Piping Design Engineer with over 8 years of hands-on experience in E3D software. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing detailed 3D piping designs for large-scale industrial and engineering projects, ensuring compliance with international standards and project-specific requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Piping Design:

    Develop comprehensive and detailed 3D piping designs using E3D. Ensure all designs align with project specifications, safety regulations, and industry standards.
  • Design Review:

    Lead and participate in piping design reviews. Ensure the accuracy, quality, and regulatory compliance of all piping models and drawings.
  • Project Coordination:

    Collaborate with other discipline leads (mechanical, civil, electrical, etc.) to ensure interdisciplinary accuracy and timely project delivery.

  • Document Interpretation & Execution:

  • Review and interpret FEED documents, design basis, PMS, and other key design references.

  • Execute both Greenfield and Brownfield projects independently.
  • Oversee preparation of redline drawings and as-built documentation at project close-out.

Requirements:

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in E3D software is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of industry codes & standards: ASME, ANSI, ASTM, EN.
  • Experienced in piping design and detailed engineering for Oil & Gas, Power, and industrial projects.
  • Exposure to pipeline engineering is an added advantage.
  • Familiarity with multi-disciplinary project environments.

Soft Skills:

  • Strong communication and leadership abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to design integrity and project timelines.
  • Able to manage workload across multiple complex projects.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (preferred).
  • Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in piping design and E3D modeling.
