Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Business/Data Analyst to join our Analytics team. The ideal candidate should have 1-3 years of experience working with Power BI, SQL, and data modeling tools to drive meaningful business insights. You will work closely with business stakeholders to understand data requirements, create compelling dashboards, and support decision-making through analytics and business intelligence solutions.

Key Skills

  • Strong experience in building dashboards and interactive visual reports using Power BI.
  • In-depth knowledge of data modeling, DAX functions, and Power BI scripting.
  • Expertise in identifying KPIs and tracking performance metrics.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
  • Proficient in SQL querying, data transformations, and relationship building.
  • Familiarity with ETL processes and tools like SSIS and SSRS.
  • Experience with data warehouse design and SSAS cube development.
  • Understanding of tabular and multidimensional data models.
  • Ability to explain algorithms, parameters, and model relationships.
  • Strong analytical mindset with excellent communication skills.
  • Hands-on experience with Python or R for data analysis.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based BI tools and platforms.
  • Knowledge of advanced analytics or statistical modeling techniques.
  • Exposure to Agile or Scrum methodologies.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Understand business requirements in a BI context and design data models accordingly.
  • Create and manage insightful dashboards and visual reports using Power BI.
  • Define and monitor KPIs aligned with business goals.
  • Analyze large datasets and present findings to support decision-making.
  • Develop technical specifications and set timelines for BI deliverables.
  • Build relationships between datasets and create tabular/multidimensional models.
  • Design, develop, and deploy Power BI scripts and DAX queries.
  • Evaluate and enhance current ETL processes and suggest improvements.
  • Design and develop business intelligence solutions tailored to organizational needs.
  • Work with stakeholders across teams to drive performance and data quality improvements.
