About the Role

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Business System Analyst to bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions. This role requires close collaboration with Product Managers, Engineers, and key stakeholders to translate complex business requirements into structured technical specifications. The ideal candidate will leverage data-driven insights to enhance system functionality, improve operational efficiency, and support business growth.

Key Responsibilities

Requirement Analysis & Technical Translation

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and document business requirements and translate them into clear technical specifications.

Define and maintain user stories, workflows, data models, and system requirements to guide development teams.

Work closely with developers to ensure technical feasibility, scalability, and alignment with organizational goals.

Data-Driven Insights & Problem Solving

Analyze large datasets to identify trends, inconsistencies, and areas for system improvement.

Utilize SQL, dashboards, and analytics tools to generate insights that drive product and process enhancements.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Agile Execution

Act as a liaison between business and IT teams, ensuring alignment on priorities, feasibility, and timelines.

Support Agile development processes, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, and defining acceptance criteria.

Ensure documentation is clear, up-to-date, and accessible to all relevant teams to reduce ambiguity and enhance efficiency.

System & Process Optimization

Identify gaps and inefficiencies in current systems and propose enhancements to improve performance and usability.

Assist in the integration of third-party systems, APIs, and cloud-based solutions to optimize workflows.

Collaborate with QA teams to define test cases, validate functionality, and ensure system reliability and compliance.

Required Qualifications

3-5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, similar role in a software or technology-driven environment.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify patterns, trends, and inconsistencies in large datasets.

Experience in translating high-level business goals into structured technical requirements.

Hands-on experience with SQL and data analysis tools to conduct deep-dive investigations.

Familiarity with AI tools for business analysis, APIs, cloud-based architectures (AWS preferred), and software development best practices.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
