I. PURPOSE OF THE JOB

Bekaert is leading a transformation program to enhance end-to-end user experience and deliver user journeys that drive impact across multiple cross-functional processes. Bekaert's employees, suppliers and customers across the value chain are getting increasingly sophisticated and expect a seamless and well-designed user experience. 

Bekaert organization is continuously considering application security as a priority. You will join us as "Platform Architect GRC & Authorizations" to provide technical leadership for design and practices related to the GRC & Authorizations within the enterprise.

You are accountable to partner with technical, functional, and business peers to guide the solution design efforts best suited to meet business objectives. In addition to technical expertise, the role also calls for the ability to demonstrate effectiveness in execution, working with our delivery partners to ensure smooth execution and support. As a solution architect, you will lead the organization in transforming, modernizing, maintaining, and governing of the GRC & Authorizations domain.

II. ROLE DESCRIPTION

As Platform Architect GRC & Authorizations you will help with architecture guidelines, standards and solutions that support the business strategy, business outcomes and needs. Lead and provide guidance to the teams on setup guidelines and documentation standards.

Main Responsibilities of Solution Architect GRC & Authorizations platform are:


•    You design and implement IT & SAP security roadmaps, including how to handle security risks in "new" technology, e.g. HANA, SAAS, Fiori and SAP focused cyber security assessments.

•    You implement proper security, access, and business process controls for the SAP systems, ranging from audits, advisory work, over (re)design and roll-out of SAP authorisations, to full scale implementation of SAP GRC.

•    You work to successfully get more value out of the ERP systems, e.g. through project (risk) management assistance or through the analysis of utilisation data.

•    You will have hands-on technical configuration of security on SAP applications when required, for example in high risk or highly complex enhancements.

•    You will guide and orchestrate the daily operational activities of the GRC & authorizations team. You coordinate partner resources to deliver on-going support to the business, including task management, provision of mentoring and support and serving as point of escalation.

•    You will lead partner resources to deliver the security elements of enhancements and upgrades with accountability for clearing roadblocks and ensuring timely and quality delivery of security requirements.

•    You will be applying conceptual knowledge and technology to solve sophisticated business processes and procedural problems.

•    You will resolve customer complaints/technical issues in collaboration with support team and responds to suggestions for improvements and enhancements.

•    You will assist in management of technical changes through the landscape, responsibility for quality and assurance that control points are satisfied.

•    You will define general governance standards for documenting, naming conventions and other best practices.You will provide guidance and drive the creation of standards, reusable assets, and automation required for scale and multiple lines of business adoption.

III. EDUCATION, SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

Education, Skills & Experience:


•    Bachelor's degree in computer science, information-technology, system analysis or a related study, or equivalent experience

• years of overall experience, 5+ years into solution architecture 

•    Advanced knowledge of security configuration, processes, and standard methodologies in ERP systems. SAP ECC, SAP S/4, Fiori, GRC are strongly preferred.

•    Experience in Access request management, Access risk review, Emergency access management, Business role management and User access review are preferred.

•    Demonstrate excellent technical & architecture skills in the context of GRC & Authorizations 

•    Analyze, understand, and improve tools and processes to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of implementing GRC & Authorizations

•    Awareness of GxP and SOX regulatory frameworks strongly favored

•    SAP S/4 Hana certification in security and knowledge of Fiori access setup will be considered a plus

•    The candidate will be able to demonstrate in-depth technical mastery (5 years + experience) of SAP security and authorizations.

•    Work with internal and external stakeholders to understand the needs for the various software applications.

•    Hands-on experience of security role build, role assignment, tracing, trouble shooting, remediation analysis and technical support and be able to provide technical mentoring and guidance to others.
