Role & responsibilities

  1. Lead Management & Conversion

  2. Promptly respond to all inquiries (via phone, email, walk-ins, website, social media, WhatsApp, etc.) with accurate and engaging information about the institutes offerings.

  3. Track and manage incoming leads using CRM systems or lead management software
  4. Qualify leads based on interest level, eligibility, financial capability, and urgency to assess the likelihood of conversion.
  5. Plan and execute structured follow-ups through calls, emails, messages, and meetings to move leads down the admissions funnel.
  6. Maintain a daily call log and follow-up schedule to ensure no lead is lost due to inactivity or poor response time.

  7. Achieve weekly/monthly targets for lead conversions, inquiries, and admissions, as set by the admissions or business development team.

  8. Admissions Counseling & Student Engagement

  9. Explain course offerings, specialization options, career outcomes, eligibility criteria, fee structure, scholarship availability, and payment plans.

  10. Address objections or concerns effectively and convert hesitant leads by building trust and highlighting value propositions.

  11. Assist students in the completion of admission forms, documentation, fee submission, and onboarding formalities.

  12. Sales-Oriented Communication & Persuasion

  13. Use a consultative selling approach to guide prospective students toward suitable programs while meeting enrollment goals.

  14. Customize communication for different types of prospects freshers, working professionals, parents, etc.
  15. Provide timely updates on admission deadlines, application status, and scholarship opportunities to create urgency and increase conversions.

  16. Maintain a high conversion ratio from leads to applications and from applications to enrollments.

  17. Collaboration with Marketing & Internal Teams

  18. Coordinate with the marketing team to give feedback on lead quality and campaign effectiveness.

  19. Share inputs to improve targeting, content, and communication based on student interactions.

  20. Database & Reporting Responsibilities

  21. Maintain a clean, updated database of all leads, prospects, applications, and enrolled students.

  22. Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports on lead status, pipeline performance, admissions achieved, and drop-offs.

  23. Follow-Up on Dropouts & Re-engagement

  24. Reach out to leads who dropped off in the past and re-engage inactive or cold leads using personalized messaging or new offers (e.g., extended deadlines, new batches).

  25. Ensure Compliance & Ethical Conduct

Preferred candidate profile

We are looking for female candidates who have the experience in same field i.e. makeup and fashion industry as admission counsellor. Candidates who have experience of at least 4 yrs shall only apply. We are looking for candidates who have strong communication skills, a persuasive approach, and the ability to manage leads and convert them into admissions are essential.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree (any stream); MBA or relevant certification is a plus
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in admissions counselling in same industry.
  • Proficiency in using CRM tools and MS Office
  • Excellent spoken and written English; multilingual ability is a bonus
  • Comfortable working in a target-driven environment
  • Strong follow-up, persuasion, and organizational skills

Candidates with experience in educational beauty industry, will be given preference.
