Gurgaon, Haryana, India leading global fintech investors and regulated Full time

Syfe is APAC's largest and fastest-growing digital wealth platform, trusted with over US$10 billion in assets. We are fundamentally changing how hundreds of thousands of people across Asia-Pacific build wealth through a holistic approach to managing money rather than just pushing investment products. Backed by world-class investors and recognised as a leader in wealthtech, we are a team of passionate builders creating the future of wealth management.

The Opportunity

We are building a next‑generation wealth‑management and investment operations platform that powers everything from investment strategy and performance reporting to downstream portfolio allocation and trade execution. The future of this platform should be a masterstroke in valuation, settlements, NAV calculations, reconciliations, reporting and vendor integrations.

The Technical Product Manager (TPM) will own the end‑to‑end product vision, drive a phased migration from legacy systems, and partner with global engineering, operations, finance and compliance teams to deliver a platform that is scalable, operationally nimble, robust data lineage for rapid rollbacks and be fully compliant across operating jurisdictions. The TPM will also synergise activities across strategic trading vendors, market data providers, banks, custodians, corporate actions partners and fund houses.

Location: Gurgaon | Hybrid Work (3 Days From Office)

What You'll Do

  • Define the long-term architecture for the next-generation fund management platform. The platform will encompass domestic and international financial products and exchanges with reference data so as to model complex instruments against key benchmarks.

  • Shape system capabilities that support discretionary portfolio management, automated allocation logic, and multi-currency workflows across markets.

  • Lead phased migration from legacy systems while maintaining reliability and data integrity.

  • Own integrations with brokers, custodians, fund houses, banks, and market-data vendors.

  • Drive API, contract, and workflow requirements with multiple external partners.

  • Build internal tools and workflows that support Investment Operations, Portfolio Operations, Finance, and Reconciliation teams.

  • Understand day-to-day operational processes, including NAV runs, settlements, exceptions, and cash movements.

  • Ensure the platform supports auditability, traceability, and regulatory requirements, enabling robust, auditable controls that meet regulatory expectations whilst protecting client interests – automated compliance via a risk-based scenario‑analysis framework.

  • Collaborate on state models, logs, and reconciliation pipelines with engineering and data teams.

  • Work closely with Engineering, Ops, Finance, Compliance, and Investment teams across markets.

  • Convert complex financial and operational workflows into clear system requirements and documentation.

  • Redesigned legacy workflows, improving user experience through system architectural excellence so as to enable client lifecycle extensions & optimise trading costs. Directly supports the creation, rebalancing, publishing and tracking of client baskets – core to wealth‑management execution.

  • Directly supports the creation, rebalancing, publishing and tracking of client portfolio baskets – core to wealth‑management trade execution.

  • Enable systems and processes to manage corporate actions and their impact on reference data, client positions and timely reporting.

  • Demonstrate strategic thinking and simplified communications to key stakeholders so as to align technology initiatives with fiduciary goals, consumers demands and regulatory expectations.

What We're Looking For

  • 5–8 years of product management experience in fintech or banking, with a platform/system focus.

  • Strong understanding of backend financial workflows such as custody, settlements, reconciliations, trading operations, and portfolio accounting.

  • Excellent analytical and documentation skills—comfortable with system diagrams, PRDs, and data models.

  • Ability to work deeply with engineering on architecture, APIs, and state models

Nice To Have:

  • Experience with wealth management, investment operations, or brokerage platforms.

  • Prior exposure to regulatory reporting or audit-heavy systems.

  • Experience in modernizing or migrating legacy financial systems.

  • Experience in pre-trade analytics, security pricing & risk attribution for portfolios, to enable best-in-class reporting, modelling world-leading fiduciaries

  • Business acumen and the ability to align product tiered pricing with fiduciary‑friendly fee structures across all portfolio services.

  • Deep domain knowledge in wealth management and familiarity with industry standards.
