The Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly skilled and self-motivated IT Systems Administrator to join our international IT team. This is not a siloed role; you will be a versatile technical expert responsible for both executing critical infrastructure projects and serving as the final escalation point for complex support issues (Tier 3). You will be the technical backbone of our IT operations, working closely with the IT Manager and CIO to modernize, secure, and optimize our hybrid technology environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the Final Escalation Point (Tier 3): Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve the most challenging technical issues related to servers, networking, cloud services, security incidents, and business applications.
• Lead Project Execution: Take charge of the hands-on technical implementation of key infrastructure projects, including server upgrades, cloud migrations, M365 rollouts, and network security enhancements.
• Manage Hybrid Infrastructure: Proactively monitor, maintain, and optimize our on-premises and cloud infrastructure, including Windows Servers, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Azure, AWS, and virtualization platforms (VMware/Hyper-V).
• Strengthen Security Posture: Implement, manage, and audit security tools and policies. Respond to security alerts, manage firewalls, and ensure our systems are hardened against threats.
• Automate and Innovate: Identify opportunities to automate manual tasks and improve operational efficiency using PowerShell/scripting and other tools.
• Develop Documentation & Mentor: Create and maintain detailed technical documentation for our systems and processes. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to our IT support team.

What You'll Bring (Qualifications & Experience):

• 5+ years of experience in a IT Support, Systems Administrator, Infrastructure Engineer, or similar role. .

• Expert-level knowledge of Windows Server environments (Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP).

• Knowledge of Linux environment for high end workstations and data processing.

• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Azure, including Entra ID (Azure AD), Exchange Online, SharePoint, and Intune.
• Proficiency with virtualization technologies such as Microsoft Hyper-V.
• Solid understanding of networking principles and hands-on experience managing firewalls (e.g., Fortinet, SonicWall), switches, VLANs, and VPNs.
• Demonstrable scripting skills, particularly with PowerShell, for automation and administration.
• Experience with enterprise backup and disaster recovery solutions.

• Willingness to learn and adapt to evolving technologies and industry best practices to ensure our infrastructure remains efficient and relevant

Nice to Have:

• Relevant industry certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, CompTIA Security+, Network+).
• Experience working in a multi-company or Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment.
• Familiarity with endpoint detection and response (EDR) and SIEM solutions. With a good understanding of cybersecurity principles.
