Pastry Chef and Baker

- Prepare high-quality confectionery items including candies, chocolates, fudge, caramel, nougat, and other sweets.
- Develop new recipes and improve existing ones based on customer preferences and company requirements.
- Decorate and present finished products with professional standards.
- Monitor ingredient quality, freshness, and inventory levels.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the working area as per FSSAI and company food safety norms.
- Ensure consistent taste, texture, and presentation in all products.
- Operate confectionery equipment such as tempering machines, mixers, molds, ovens, and cooling units.
- Check and control product quality during each stage of production.
- Coordinate with the bakery/production team for timely output.
- Follow all SOPs, safety guidelines, and hygiene protocols.
- Train junior staff or assistants when required.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Diploma/Certification in Bakery, Confectionery, Pastry Arts, or relevant field.
- Minimum 1–3 years of experience in confectionery or bakery production (experience varies as per company).
- Strong knowledge of confectionery techniques (tempering, molding, sugar work, caramelizing, glazing).
- Creativity in designing sweets and desserts.
- Good understanding of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen operations.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for long hours.
- Capability to work in hot and cold temperature zones.
- Must be able to lift moderate-weight ingredients/equipment.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹15, ₹25,000.00 per month
