Role & Responsibilities:

  • Deploy and manage cloud infrastructure using GCP services such as Compute Engine, IAM, Cloud Storage, VPC, Kubernetes Engine (GKE), Cloud SQL, and Cloud Functions.
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or Deployment Manager.
  • Use GCP monitoring tools (Cloud Monitoring, Cloud Logging, Stackdriver) to proactively identify and resolve issues.
  • Support IAM best practices including enforcing least privilege access.
  • Implement self-healing infrastructure and automate operational tasks like backups, patching, and scaling.
  • Ensure secure configurations and implement security controls and best practices for cloud infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable, and cost-effective cloud solutions.
  • Provide operational support for platform issues including troubleshooting and performance optimization.
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation on architecture, configuration, and operational procedures.
  • Share knowledge and provide training on cloud technologies and best practices.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

  • 5-6+ years of relevant experience working with GCP cloud infrastructure.
  • Strong hands-on experience with core GCP services and Infrastructure as Code tools.
  • Good understanding of cloud security, IAM, and monitoring tools.
  • Experience working in a hybrid work model with Bangalore location preference.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills.
