As we scale our carbonated soft drinks division, we are looking for a dedicated Quality Assurance Analyst to ensure that every bottle we produce meets the highest standards of safety, taste, and compliance.

Role Overview

The Quality Assurance Analyst will be responsible for monitoring, testing, and validating all quality-related parameters across the production line—covering water treatment, syrup preparation, carbonation, bottling, packaging, and storage. The candidate will play a critical role in ensuring that our products consistently meet FSSAI standards, internal SOPs, and customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Quality Monitoring & Testing

  • Conduct routine quality checks on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished goods.
  • Test parameters including pH, brix, carbonation levels, TDS, microbiological safety, sensory evaluation, etc.
  • Maintain calibration of all laboratory and line instruments.
  • Monitor sanitary conditions across the plant including water treatment, pipelines, filling machines, and storage.

2. Compliance & Documentation

  • Ensure compliance with FSSAI, GMP, and internal SOPs.
  • Maintain accurate QA logs, COAs, deviation reports, and batch records.
  • Assist in preparing documents for regulatory audits and certifications.

3. Process Control

  • Work closely with production teams to ensure critical control points (CCPs) are monitored and recorded.
  • Identify process deviations and recommend corrective & preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Ensure proper hygiene practices across the production floor.

4. Supplier & Raw Material Quality

  • Inspect and approve incoming raw materials (flavours, concentrates, CO2, sugar, packaging materials).
  • Coordinate with procurement for vendor quality improvement when required.

5. Continuous Improvement

  • Support in developing and updating SOPs for QA and production.
  • Participate in root-cause analysis for quality failures.
  • Implement quality improvement projects for better consistency and reduced wastage.

Skills & Qualifications

Education

  • B.Sc / M.Sc in Food Technology, Microbiology, Chemistry, or related fields.
  • Diploma holders with relevant experience may also apply.

Technical Skills

  • Knowledge of food safety standards, HACCP, FSSAI regulations.
  • Hands-on experience in beverage/food QA labs preferred.
  • Ability to operate laboratory instruments (pH meter, brix meter, carbonation tester, etc.).
  • Strong documentation and report-writing skills.
