Position: Quantity Surveyor (QS) Engineer Interior Design / Fit-Out

Location: Hyderabad

Reports To: Project Manager / Commercial Manager

Education: Bachelors in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.

Experience: Minimum 3 years in "quantity surveying (interior design, fit-out, or construction industry)."

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled "Quantity Surveyor (QS) Engineer" to manage "cost estimation, budgeting, and financial control" for interior design & fit-out projects. This role requires close coordination with design, procurement, and execution teams to ensure projects are delivered "on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards".

Key Responsibilities

Cost Estimation & Budgeting Prepare BOQs, quantity take-offs, and accurate cost estimates from design drawings.

Tendering & Procurement – Prepare tender documents, evaluate bids, and assist in contractor/subcontractor selection.

Project Cost Control – Track costs, manage variations/claims, update forecasts, and identify cost-saving opportunities.

Valuations & Payments – Review subcontractor claims, process interim payments, and finalize accounts in line with contracts.

Reporting – Deliver timely cost reports, financial updates, and highlight risks to management.

Coordination– Work with design, procurement, and site teams; attend site meetings to assess financial impact of progress/changes.

Skills:

* Strong knowledge of interior materials, finishes & construction methods.

  * Proficient in **AutoCAD & MS Excel**.

  * Excellent **analytical, negotiation, and communication skills**.

  * Familiarity with **FIDIC / standard contracts** (advantage).
