We are looking for a strategic and customer-obsessed Senior Product Manager to partner with our Engineering Manager and their high-performing team to define, build, and scale AI and large language model (LLM) products that transform how enterprises leverage artificial intelligence. In this role, you will drive product strategy, champion user needs, and ensure we deliver market-leading solutions that create meaningful business value across SAP's global ecosystem.

Description

As the product leader for our fast-moving and innovative Application AI team, you will own the end-to-end product experience from strategy through execution. You'll work in lockstep with engineering leadership to translate market opportunities into technical requirements, prioritize feature development, and drive adoption of cutting-edge AI capabilities. We're seeking someone who thrives in ambiguous environments, can balance technical complexity with user simplicity, and has the vision to anticipate market needs in the rapidly evolving AI landscape.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner closely with the Engineering Manager to align product roadmap with technical capabilities and constraints

• Define product strategy and vision for AI/ML platform capabilities, APIs, and LLM-powered solutions

• Conduct deep customer research and market analysis to identify high-impact product opportunities

• Translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications for backend systems, APIs, and infrastructure

• Drive cross-functional alignment between engineering, design, sales, marketing, and customer success teams

• Own product metrics, KPIs, and success criteria, using data to inform product decisions and optimizations

• Lead go-to-market strategy and enablement for new AI features and platform capabilities

• Build strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders to gather feedback and validate product direction

• Communicate product vision, progress, and impact to executive leadership and board-level stakeholders

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or related quantitative field; MBA or advanced degree preferred

• 6+ years of product management experience, with at least 2+ years focused on AI/ML products, developer platforms, or enterprise infrastructure

• Proven track record of launching and scaling successful B2B products in competitive, fast-moving markets

• Deep technical understanding of AI/ML workflows, and LLM capabilities

• Experience collaborating with engineering teams on complex technical products and API-first platforms

• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools and methodologies

• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with ability to influence without authority across global teams

• Experience in enterprise software environments with understanding of enterprise sales cycles and customer needs

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SAP technology and ecosystem

• Experience building developer tools, API products, or AI/ML platforms used by technical audiences

• Previous experience at high-growth technology companies or leading enterprise software vendors
