We are looking for a driven and detail-oriented Product Manager to support our Engineering Manager and their high-performing team in building and scaling AI and large language model (LLM) products that transform how enterprises leverage artificial intelligence. In this role, you will contribute to product strategy, advocate for user needs, and help deliver innovative solutions that create meaningful business value across SAP's global ecosystem.
Description
As a key contributor on our fast-moving and innovative Application AI team, you will support the end-to-end product experience from strategy through execution. You'll work closely with engineering leadership to help translate market opportunities into technical requirements, assist with feature prioritization, and support the adoption of cutting-edge AI capabilities. We're seeking someone who is eager to learn in ambiguous environments, can navigate technical complexity, and is excited to grow their skills in the rapidly evolving AI landscape.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with the Engineering Manager to support product roadmap alignment with technical capabilities and constraints
Contribute to product strategy development for AI/ML platform capabilities, APIs, and LLM-powered solutions
Conduct customer research and competitive analysis to support product opportunity identification
Help translate business requirements into clear technical specifications for backend systems, APIs, and infrastructure
Support cross-functional coordination between engineering, design, sales, marketing, and customer success teams
Track and analyze product metrics, KPIs, and success criteria to support data-driven product decisions
Assist with go-to-market planning and enablement for new AI features and platform capabilities
Help build relationships with customers and stakeholders to gather feedback and validate product direction
Support communication of product updates and progress to leadership and cross-functional partners
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or related quantitative field
4+ years of product management experience, with at least 1+ year of exposure to AI/ML products, developer platforms, or enterprise software
Experience supporting the launch of B2B products in technical or enterprise environments
Basic technical understanding of AI/ML workflows and familiarity with LLM capabilities
Experience working with engineering teams on technical products and understanding of API concepts
Strong analytical skills with ability to work with data analysis tools and interpret metrics
Good communication and collaboration skills, with ability to work effectively across diverse teams
Interest in enterprise software environments and willingness to learn about enterprise customer needs
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with SAP technology and ecosystem
Exposure to developer tools, API products, or AI/ML platforms used by technical audiences
Previous experience at technology companies or enterprise software vendors
Technical background or coursework in computer science, data science, or related fields
Experience with agile development methodologies and product management tools
