Position Overview:

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Tender Executive / Sr. Tender Executive with a strong background in the solar industry to join our Tender Department in Ahmedabad. The candidate will manage the entire tendering process — from identifying relevant solar project opportunities to preparing, submitting, and tracking tenders in compliance with client and company standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Tender Identification:

Search and track solar-related tender opportunities on government and private e-tendering portals (GeM, CPP, E-Procurement sites, DISCOMs, etc.).

Evaluate eligibility criteria, technical specifications, and submission requirements for solar EPC, rooftop, and ground-mounted projects.

Tender Preparation:

Review and analyze tender documents, BOQs, and technical drawings related to solar projects.

Prepare checklists and ensure completeness of all tender documents as per client requirements.

Coordinate with internal departments such as Design, Engineering, Procurement, Finance, and Legal to gather necessary data.

Compile technical and financial bids in line with tender guidelines and company policies.

Submission & Follow-Up:

Ensure timely and accurate submission of tenders through online/offline portals.

Maintain organized records of submitted tenders and follow up on bid evaluations and results.

Communicate with clients for clarifications, amendments, and updates during the tendering process.

Documentation & Compliance:

Handle vendor registration and renewal on relevant solar and government tender portals.

Maintain updated company documents — GST, PAN, CIN, ISO, financials, and technical credentials — required for tendering.

Participate in pre-bid meetings and site visits when required.

Support & Coordination:

Assist the management team in preparing project cost estimations and bid pricing for solar projects.

Track upcoming tenders and ensure readiness for submissions.

Contribute to maintaining the tender database and improving tendering processes.

Candidate Requirements:

Education: Graduate in Civil Engineering /(Electrical or Renewable Energy background preferred).

Experience: 2–5 years of experience in tendering within the solar industry (rooftop / utility-scale / EPC projects).

Skills:

In-depth knowledge of solar project tenders and e-tendering procedures.

Familiarity with government procurement systems (GeM, NTPC, ECL, E procure, N procure, CPPP, state DISCOMs).

Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Excellent communication, coordination, and documentation skills.

Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
