About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented Data Quality Analyst to ensure accuracy,

consistency, and integrity of our data assets. The ideal candidate will be responsible

for validating ETL pipelines, managing master data, identifying anomalies, and

driving automation in QA processes. This role directly supports our data-driven

decision-making by ensuring that the data we deliver is reliable, enriched, and

optimized.

Key Responsibilities

Data Validation & Accuracy

  • Ensure 100% accuracy of data post-ETL processing.
  • Identify, document, and resolve anomalies, inconsistencies, or missing values.

ETL Process Quality Assurance

  • Validate ETL pipelines for correctness, completeness, and performance.
  • Define and execute test cases and validation rules with data engineering teams.

Master Data Management

  • Verify and update master data to ensure timeliness and accuracy.
  • Conduct continuous validation of master data records.

Automation & Process Improvement

  • Automate repetitive QA tasks to improve efficiency.
  • Recommend enhancements to ETL and QA workflows to reduce errors.

Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain QA logs, test cases, and validation reports.
  • Communicate data quality issues and propose actionable solutions.

Gap Analysis Assurance

  • Conduct audits to identify missing, inconsistent, or inaccurate data.
  • Develop and implement validation rules and gap-check mechanisms.
  • Prepare monthly reports on data health metrics.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong experience in data quality assurance, validation, and ETL testing.
  • Proficient in writing SQL queries for data validation and anomaly detection.
  • Hands-on knowledge of ETL tools is a plus.
  • Familiarity with data governance, master data management (MDM) principles.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
  • Experience with automation frameworks for data QA is desirable.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to handle large datasets.
  • Strong communication skills to work across teams.

Preferred Background

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in Data Quality, ETL QA, or Data Governance roles.
