Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Automotive Technician to join our dynamic team. As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, a passion for the automotive industry, and a commitment to providing top-quality service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Vehicle Diagnostics: Use advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues with engines, transmissions, brakes, electrical systems, exhaust, and more.
  • Repairs & Maintenance: Perform repairs and routine maintenance such as oil changes, brake inspections, tire rotations, and fluid checks.
  • Technical Expertise: Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues, including but not limited to suspension systems, HVAC, fuel systems, and engine performance.
  • Customer Service: Communicate effectively with customers about vehicle issues, repair needs, and maintenance recommendations. Provide accurate estimates for parts and labor.
  • Preventative Maintenance: Advise customers on preventative maintenance to prolong the life of their vehicles and improve performance.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of services performed, parts used, and repairs made for each vehicle.
  • Parts and Inventory Management: Assist in ordering and maintaining vehicle parts and inventory, ensuring that necessary components are readily available for repairs.
  • Team Collaboration: Work alongside other technicians and service advisors to ensure timely and efficient workflow in the shop.
  • Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety procedures and regulations while performing services. Ensure a clean and organized work environment.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Previous experience as an automotive technician or mechanic preferred (1-3 years).
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification (ASE, OEM training, or equivalent) preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in using diagnostic equipment, hand tools, and shop machinery. Knowledge of electrical systems, engine components, and brake systems is required.
  • Certifications: ASE certification preferred (Automotive Service Excellence); additional manufacturer-specific training is a plus.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to explain technical information to customers in a clear and understandable way.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail to ensure repairs and services meet quality standards.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy parts and tools, bend, crouch, and work in tight spaces for extended periods.
  • Driver's License: Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Working Conditions:

  • Work in a fast-paced, shop environment with exposure to loud noises, heat, and potentially hazardous materials.
  • Occasional weekend and evening hours required, based on customer .

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹10, ₹12,000.00 per month
