Responsibility & Authority

  • Manage the procurement of materials, equipment, and services as per company requirements
  • Evaluate vendor quotations and negotiate terms to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality
  • Issue purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of goods/services
  • Maintain accurate purchase records, vendor databases, and price lists
  • Coordinate with internal departments to forecast purchasing needs
  • Monitor stock levels and collaborate with inventory and warehouse teams
  • Resolve supply, quality, or invoice discrepancies with vendors
  • Ensure adherence to procurement policies, compliance standards, and quality expectations

  • Support in vendor development and periodic performance evaluations

  • Prepare reports related to purchase activities, cost savings, and supplier performance

Preferred Educational and Experience Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Commerce, or related field
  • 3–5 years of experience in procurement or purchase-related roles

Job Skills & Knowledge Required:

  • Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
  • Good knowledge of procurement processes and documentation
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems
  • Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills
  • Understanding of supply chain and inventory management principles

General Training Requirement:

  • ERP system training, purchase compliance, and vendor evaluation.

Any Specific Training Requirement:

  • Strategic sourcing or basic contract management training
