Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify current and future training needs through job analysis, performance reviews, and consultation with
  • department heads.
  • Design, plan, and implement training programs aligned with the hotels brand standards and operational goals.
  • Deliver engaging and interactive training sessions for new hires and existing staff (induction, soft skills, technical skills, compliance).
  • Evaluate training effectiveness and monitor outcomes to continuously improve learning initiatives.
  • Maintain training records, reports, and documentation in accordance with audit and compliance requirements.
  • Collaborate with department heads to create department-specific training modules.
  • Drive initiatives for employee engagement, upskilling, and career development.
  • Coordinate with external training providers when required.
  • Support performance management by facilitating coaching and feedback frameworks.
  • Ensure all team members are trained on health, safety, and hygiene standards as per local regulations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors or master's degree in Hotel Management, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in Learning & Development / Training roles within the hospitality industry.
  • Strong presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
  • Familiarity with brand/service standards (e.g., Forbes, ISO, HACCP, etc.) is an advantage.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • High level of energy, creativity, and commitment to excellence.

Preferred Skills:

  • Bilingual proficiency (especially English + local language)
  • Certification in Training (e.g., TOT, NLP, Instructional Design)
  • Experience in luxury or branded hotel chains
