
Training Manager

Key Responsibilities:
- Identify current and future training needs through job analysis, performance reviews, and consultation with
- department heads.
- Design, plan, and implement training programs aligned with the hotels brand standards and operational goals.
- Deliver engaging and interactive training sessions for new hires and existing staff (induction, soft skills, technical skills, compliance).
- Evaluate training effectiveness and monitor outcomes to continuously improve learning initiatives.
- Maintain training records, reports, and documentation in accordance with audit and compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with department heads to create department-specific training modules.
- Drive initiatives for employee engagement, upskilling, and career development.
- Coordinate with external training providers when required.
- Support performance management by facilitating coaching and feedback frameworks.
- Ensure all team members are trained on health, safety, and hygiene standards as per local regulations.
Requirements:
- Bachelors or master's degree in Hotel Management, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in Learning & Development / Training roles within the hospitality industry.
- Strong presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in MS Office and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
- Familiarity with brand/service standards (e.g., Forbes, ISO, HACCP, etc.) is an advantage.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- High level of energy, creativity, and commitment to excellence.
Preferred Skills:
- Bilingual proficiency (especially English + local language)
- Certification in Training (e.g., TOT, NLP, Instructional Design)
- Experience in luxury or branded hotel chains
