Summery & Candidate Profile:
We are seeking a highly capable Trainer to manage comprehensive training programs for our outlet and restaurant staff. The ideal candidate will have experience in a start-up environment, demonstrating the ability to build programs from the ground up, including the development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
This role will require weekly travel to various outlets and additional travel as needed, so candidates must be open to this requirement. Furthermore, it is essential for the candidate to have a background in the food industry, with a preference for experience in the bakery sector.
As a Training Manager, your role is to design, implement, and manage training programs that enhance efficiency and effectiveness in operations, ensuring alignment with the companys values, philosophy, mission, and vision
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Training Development: Ensure all training activities align with the organizations mission and vision, focusing on product knowledge, company philosophy, customer service, and leadership skills.
Needs Assessment and Program Design: Work with leadership teams to identify development needs, design and develop custom and corporate training programs, and facilitate their delivery. 3. Operational and Process Training: Implement and monitor training on operational processes and standard operating procedures (SOPs), addressing gaps to optimize resource utilization.
Effectiveness Measurement and Continuous Improvement: Measure training effectiveness to ensure ROI and conduct regular audits to update developmental metrics for ongoing improvement.
Career Development and Sustainability: Provide training to prepare employees for future roles and ensure the sustainability of learning through regular refresher training.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Graduation / Diploma or Degree in Hotel Management / Management (Preferred)
- Post-graduation / Advance Diploma or Certificate in Business management is desirable
- Certification in Training and Development (Desirable)
- Experience: Minimum 4 years of Food & Beverages/FMCG/Retail industry experience
Key Skills:
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to develop frameworks for sustainable learning cultures
- Proficient in current training trends and methodologies
- Proactive, adaptable, and detail-oriented
