The Job

We are seeking a diligent and experienced Statutory Reporting Associate to oversee all aspects of statutory accounting and compliance for legal entities primarily across the APAC region. This is a hands-on role requiring deep expertise in multi-GAAP environments, including US GAAP, IFRS, and IND AS. The ideal candidate will ensure timely and accurate preparation, audit, and filing of financial statements while collaborating closely with external auditors, internal finance teams, and business leaders.

Your Profile

We are seeking a qualified CA or CMA(ICWA) who comes with at least 6+ years of experience and will be responsible globally for ensuring the ledger integrity encompasses several duties, including but not limited to:

• Financial Statement Preparation: Lead the preparation and review of statutory financial statements for all local entities across APAC.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to jurisdiction-specific accounting standards and statutory reporting requirements, including secretarial compliance.
• Board & Management Reporting: Own the creation and delivery of finance-related board presentations. Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership.
• Audit Management: Serve as the primary liaison with statutory auditors. Manage the full audit lifecycle from planning to finalization.
• Balance Sheet Review: Drive group-level balance sheet reviews, prepare supporting schedules, and present consolidated analysis to the global controllership and CFO.
• Reconciliation & Substantiation: Reconcile statutory accounts with group management accounts, documenting all GAAP differences.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with Financial Control, FP&A, Business Units, and Technical Accounting to resolve financial and operational challenges.
• Process Improvement: Identify and implement automation and best practices to streamline accounting processes.
• Project Leadership: Lead initiatives and support system changes as required.

Basic Qualifications

• 6–111 years of experience in statutory reporting, financial accounting, or external audit
• Advanced knowledge of IND AS, IFRS, and US GAAP
• Strong understanding of financial reporting principles and disclosure requirements
• Experience in process and system transitions (preferably SAP)
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Strong analytical and quantitative abilities
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Adaptability in a fast-paced environment
• Proactive problem-solving mindset

Preferred Qualifications

• CA / ICWA certification
• Specialization in statutory reporting for at least the last 4–5 years
