Role & responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all environmental programs and compliance activities for a very large FMCG plant in Surat.
  • Developing sustainability and pollution control initiatives, monitoring legal and regulatory adherence (air, water, waste management), guiding EHS audits, and engaging teams toward ISO 14001 standards.
  • The incumbent partners with cross-functional groups to build a culture of environmental responsibility, drive green manufacturing solutions, and ensure the plants operational impact is fully compliant and proactively managed.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Graduate/Postgraduate in Environmental Science/Engineering or related discipline
  • At least 7-8 years hands-on experience in environmental management for manufacturing facilities – Experience in Beverages industry is a necessary requirement.
  • Strong knowledge of statutory regulations, sustainability practices, and EHS audits
  • Good communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.
