Role Purpose

As the Manager/Senior Manager - Accounts, you will be the financial backbone of our organization. You will oversee all accounting functions, ensure compliance, manage cash flow, and provide critical financial insights to support both project and corporate operations. Your expertise will help sustain our reputation for excellence and precision.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accounting Operations: Oversee day-to-day accounting, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
  • Client & Vendor Management: Ensure timely client invoicing and follow-up on receivables. Manage vendor payments, retentions, and statement reconciliations.
  • Financial Reporting: Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing. Prepare accurate MIS reports, project cost reports, and management dashboards.
  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to all statutory requirements including GST, TDS, PF, ESI, and more.
  • Project Accounting: Track project-wise expenses, budgets, and cash flow in collaboration with project and billing teams.
  • Audit & Coordination: Liaise with auditors, banks, and statutory authorities for audits, loans, and compliance matters.
  • Internal Controls: Implement and monitor robust internal controls to protect company assets.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to guide business decisions.

Who We're Looking For

  • Education: Bachelor's/Master's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance. A CA/ICWA qualification is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Experience: 10–15 years of progressive experience in accounting and finance, preferably within the interior design, fit-out, or construction industry.
  • Skills:
  • In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, and compliance.
  • Proficiency in Tally ERP or other accounting software.
  • Strong analytical, reporting, and documentation skills.
  • Experience in project-based accounting and cost control.
  • Leadership abilities with a detail-oriented and organized approach.
