Job summary

Responsible for overseeing the engineering aspects of road and highway projects, ensuring compliance with project specifications and timelines and managing the technical teams effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Planning and Management: Develop project plans and schedules, monitor progress, and coordinate with stakeholders to ensure timely completion of road and highway projects.
  • Design Review and Approval: Analyze and review road and highway design plans, make recommendations for improvements, and approve designs that meet project specifications and standards.
  • Site Supervision: Oversee the on-site engineering activities, ensuring the work is carried out according to the approved designs and complies with safety and quality standards.
  • Resource Management: Manage the allocation and use of resources including labor, materials, and equipment to optimize project efficiency.
  • Technical Support and Problem Solving: Provide technical expertise and support to resolve engineering challenges and ensure project deliverables are met.
  • Software Proficiency: Civil 3D, AutoCAD

Key Requirements

  • Experience: 5-10 years of experience in project engineering within the roads and highways sector.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (B.Tech/B.E.) or a relevant field.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
  • Proven track record of successfully managing road and highway projects
