Job Summary:

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Site Supervisor to manage on-site execution of solar PV installations for commercial, or industrial projects. The ideal candidate will oversee day-to-day site operations, coordinate labour and subcontractors, enforce safety standards, and ensure the project is executed within time, quality, and budget parameters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct site visits for new enquiries & assess the site for feasibility.
  • Supervise and coordinate on-site activities related to solar PV installation including civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical works.
  • Ensure project execution as per design, drawings, technical specifications, and safety standards.
  • Manage site workforce including contractors, electricians, technicians, and labourers.
  • Coordinate with project engineers, clients, vendors, and subcontractors for smooth workflow.
  • Conduct daily toolbox talks and safety briefings.
  • Monitor progress and quality; maintain daily work logs, checklists, and site reports.
  • Track material usage and inventory at the site; ensure proper handling and storage.
  • Report any delays, issues, or deviations from scope to the project manager promptly.
  • Support in site testing, commissioning, and handover activities.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and internal QA/QC protocols.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma or Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil Engineering, or related discipline.
  • 3–5 years of experience in solar EPC or infrastructure project execution (rooftop/ground-mounted).
  • Solid knowledge of solar components, installation processes, and construction methodologies.
  • Understanding of safety standards and site management protocols.
  • Proficiency in reading engineering drawings and layouts.
  • Strong leadership and team coordination skills.
  • Comfortable working in remote project locations and under field conditions.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with both rooftop and ground-mounted solar projects.
  • Familiarity with project tracking tools and MS Office (especially Excel, Word).
  • Experience working with EPC contracts
