Role Description

We are looking for an experienced AI Developer / Data Scientist to build an AI-driven Demand Forecasting and Sales Planning System. The goal is to predict future product demand based on historical sales data and automatically generate an intelligent sales and raw material procurement plan.

Key Responsibilities

Demand Forecasting:

Develop and train AI/ML models to forecast product demand using historical sales data, seasonal trends, and other relevant factors.

Sales Planner Automation:

Based on forecasted demand, create a dynamic Sales Planning module that will automatically:

  • Generate a buying plan for raw materials.
  • Consider current product inventory, raw material stock, and lead/import times.
  • Optimize purchase timing and quantities to balance demand fulfillment and cost efficiency.

Data Integration:

Integrate the forecasting and planning systems with existing databases, inventory, and procurement management tools.

Dashboard & Visualization:

Build interactive dashboards for visualizing forecasts, sales plans, and material procurement schedules.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in AI/ML-based demand forecasting, time-series modeling, or predictive analytics.
  • Experience with Meta Prophet for demand forecasting.
  • Strong in Python, Jupyter Notebook, and data processing.
  • Experience working with AWS, ClickHouse, Apache Airflow, and Metabase.
  • Experience with inventory and supply chain optimization algorithms.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20, ₹35,000.00 per month
