Job Title: Accounts Executive (with GST Experience)

Location: Velugam, Silvasa

Industry: Generator Manufacturing

Reporting To: Accounts Manager / Finance Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Executive with hands-on knowledge of GST compliance and day-to-day accounting operations. The ideal candidate will manage financial records, ensure accurate GST filings, and support the finance department in maintaining efficient and compliant financial processes.

Key Responsibilities:

·      Maintain and update daily accounting records, ledgers, and journal entries.

·      Prepare and file monthly/quarterly GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, etc.).

·      Perform GST reconciliation between books of accounts and GST portal.

·      Ensure timely and accurate TDS/TCS compliance and filings.

·      Assist in preparing financial reports such as profit & loss, balance sheet, and cash flow statements.

·      Handle vendor and customer invoice entries, credit/debit notes, and payment follow-ups.

·      Coordinate with auditors for internal and statutory audits.

·      Ensure accurate input tax credit (ITC) claims and manage reverse charge mechanisms where applicable.

·      Support the finance team with bank reconciliations, payroll, and MIS reporting.

·      Stay updated with latest changes in GST laws and regulations.

Requirements:

·      Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or a related field (B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter preferred).

· years of experience in accounting, with strong exposure to GST compliance.

·      Knowledge of Tally ERP, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, or similar accounting software.

·      Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Table, etc.).

·      Strong understanding of Indian taxation laws, including GST and TDS.

·      Good analytical, communication, and organizational skills.

·      Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

·      Experience working in a CA firm or finance department of a mid to large-sized company.

Familiarity with e-invoicing, GST portal functionalities, and online compliance platforms.
