Summary

Build production-grade Java services and AI Agents that power SAP Sales Cloud V2 capabilities (Visit & Activity Management, Digital Selling/Call Lists, Dynamic & Static Route Planning). Work across Kyma/Kubernetes, Kafka, Spring Boot, and modern GenAI stacks (Spring AI, MCP, vector search, LLM evaluation) with enterprise-grade security, multitenancy, and observability.

What youll do

• Design and implement agentic backends in Java using Spring Boot (3.x) and Spring AI (or equivalent) with function/tool calling and orchestration.
• Build and manage prompt templates, prompt/version control, and data governance.
• Develop and integrate MCP (Model Context Protocol) tools/servers for standardized access to enterprise systems and actions; enforce quotas, auth, and auditability.
• Engineer event-driven microservices on Kubernetes.
• Ensure security & compliance.
• Own CI/CD.
• Write ADRs, and mentor engineers on design and code quality.
• Integrate with SAP Sales Cloud V2 and S/4HANA via REST/OData, following SAP Cloud product standards.

What you bring

• BE/B-Tech in Computer Science Engineering or equivalent.
• Strong Java (17 ), Spring Boot (3.x); designing scalable, event-driven microservices.
• Hands-on AI in Java: Spring AI/LangChain4j, LLM providers (OpenAI/Azure/compatible), embeddings, vector stores, tool/function calling, and agent frameworks.
• Practical prompt engineering and LLM evaluation (offline harnesses, golden sets, A/B, safety).
• Experience with Kubernetes/Kyma, Kafka, and one or more datastores (Elastic/Mongo/Postgres).
• Proficiency with REST/OData, caching strategies, performance profiling; Micrometer/OpenTelemetry for metrics/tracing.
• Secure coding with OAuth2/OIDC; familiarity with SAP IAS or enterprise identity.

Good to have

• SAP domain familiarity: SAP Sales Cloud V2, S/4HANA integration, SAP BTP (Kyma), CAP basics.
• Operations research/optimization exposure (routing, time windows) and batch/stream data processing.
• Front-end collaboration (e.g., Angular) for agent consoles and admin tooling.
• Cost optimization, feature flags, policy/guardrail frameworks.

Ways of working

Agile, code reviews, automated testing (unit/contract/e2e/load), and progressive delivery. Documentation via ADRs, measurable KPIs for reliability, security, LLM quality, latency, and cost.
