Business Development Manager- Marketing Research

About the Role
We are seeking a highly driven and experienced Business Development Manager with deep expertise in the Market Research and Insights industry. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in driving revenue growth, building strong client relationships, and developing strategic partnerships across global markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute business development strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets.
- Identify, prospect, and close new business opportunities across domestic and international markets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including corporate clients, research agencies, and consulting firms.
- Drive end-to-end sales cycle including lead generation, client meetings, proposal development, negotiation, and closure.
- Collaborate with internal research & operations teams to deliver tailored research solutions based on client needs.
- Monitor industry trends, competitor landscape, and emerging opportunities to support strategic decision-making.
- Prepare sales forecasts, reports, and performance analyses to senior leadership.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking platforms.
Key Skills & Competencies
- Deep understanding of market research methodologies, offerings, and industry use-cases.
- Strong network within corporate research, consulting firms, agencies, and strategic business units.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strategic thinker with excellent analytical and commercial acumen.
- Strong ability to build long-term business relationships and manage key accounts.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
Qualifications
- Master's/Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or related field.
- 7–10 years of experience in Business Development/Client Acquisition roles within the Market Research industry.
- Proven track record of achieving revenue targets and building sustainable client partnerships.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹1,000, ₹1,800,000.00 per year
