Role & responsibilities

  • Act as advocacy partner with the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW) and state

governments for scaling up and increasing the visibility of health program across the nation.

  • To ensure the necessary approvals from senior officials and bureaucrats of MOHFW
  • Strategically positioning program across national level and state level health forums.
  • Establish program-level advocacy at the central level and across all states.
  • Regularly present program impact and improvement plans with MoHFW to keep them involved
  • Stay informed on all ministry level developments.
  • Create an eco-friendly platform at the ministry level where ideas and issues can be exchanged.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Qualified Public Health professional.
  • Someone who understands the ecosystem and the function of the ministry
  • Understands and up to date on health policies at national level
  • Strong network and relationship with senior officials at ministry and state level
  • Ability to build coalition and collaborate with other civil bodies and organisation
  • Must have strong exposure to mHealth programs
